Thank You for LIFTing

I’ve been sitting with the reviews coming in for Lift: 10 Mentorship Touchpoints to Empower Your Team and Accelerate Your Career, and what stays with me most is the care behind them.

To my Pitch Stars — and to the friends, family, and extended networks who took the time to read, reflect, and share something thoughtful — thank you. Not in a routine way, but in a way that recognizes what it takes to pause, put words to your experience, and show up for someone else’s work. I’ve read every single one, and each one has meant something.

This first book launch became something bigger than I could have planned because it was never mine alone. It was built in motion, alongside the people I mentor every day — and who, in turn, continue to teach me just as much.

That’s the part of mentorship we don’t talk about enough. It’s not one-directional. It asks you to release control, to trust, to create space for others to step in and lead (even when it would be easier to hold on). But you don’t make success happen alone. And when you truly let go and let others rise, the outcome is always stronger than anything you could have done yourself.

I’m grateful to be surrounded by a team that shows up the way they do — for each other, for the work, and for moments like this that we get to share together. 💛🦋
