The Pitch Episode 57:
Gratitude Gains

Read:

Gratitude in business has taken an odd turn for the worse in the past decade. I’m not sure if it has to do with the increase in busyness, the cut backs on marketing budgets or the assumption of feeling connected through technology. Whatever the reason, showing true gratitude is quickly evaporating from our business dealings. While this is not a good trend, if you recognize the opportunity there will be a silver lining for your pitching game. “The Pitch” challenge today: Try one of these three simple ways to show gratitude to those you are pitching in your work life that will cost you less than $5 and less than 5 minutes: Number one: Write and mail a thank you card. Number two: Send a $5 gift card from their favorite coffee shop. Number three: Leave a voicemail with a sincere message about how much you appreciate working with or knowing the person. Today is a great day to try one of these under $5; under 5 minutes go-to gratitude moves to increase your future gains in business. The more time you take to give gratitude the more you will gain from the relationship while improving your own wellbeing and outlook on life.
